Park Jinseok Aesthetic Clinic – Dr. Park I arrived at the clinic with no hiccups. It was located in the main Apgujeong area where the bulk of plastic surgery clinics are. The clinic gave off a cozy, comfortable vibe. It was around 5pm, and I cannot remember if there was anyone in the waiting area since it was so late and I was exhausted from the previous consults. There was uplifting music playing in the background. Upon my arrival, nurses quickly greeted and attended to me. They asked me some questions while filling out a form and brought me in immediately to do a Vectra breast scan, physical measurements, and have pictures taken. Afterwards, I met with Dr. Park for the consultation. During the consultation, Dr. Park examined my breasts, reviewed the scans and pictures, and explained his proposed methodology and recommendations. We spent a lot of time conversing, and he even insisted on recording the consultation on his phone for my personal records. He answered all of our questions and the total consultation lasted over two hours! It was one of the most detailed, thorough and satisfying consultations I’ve had with a surgeon thus far. Now, you might have noticed that I only consulted with one clinic for breast augmentation. The reason behind this decision was that I had conversed with Dr. Park for a period of three months prior to my trip, and his 24/7 responsiveness and thoroughness in answering my specific questions had solidified my decision to have him as my breast surgeon. Some stats I’ll include because they were part of my pre-op questions – he performs about 300-400 operations in a year, has worked with his anesthesiologist for over 20 years with no accidents, and in the last five years, he experienced only two cases of infection. I had also chatted with two other individuals on Kakao that underwent breast augmentation surgery with him who wholeheartedly recommended him as a surgeon. With these points in mind, I only needed to have the face-to-face consultation to confirm or negate what I felt to make the final decision. If the face-to-face did not go well, I planned to postpone my breast augmentation surgery for a future trip. Given that the consultation was a huge success, and Dr. Park made me feel 110% comfortable in his capabilities, I decided to schedule my breast augmentation surgery with this clinic.
